About the Event
The Norwegian National League sponsors the parade and festivities in Park Ridge IL for Norwegian Constituion Day, aka Syttende Mai.
The festivities include: Music, Vendors, Children's Activities, Dancing, and Scholarship presentation will occur from 11am to 3pm.
The actual parade will start from the intersection of Cumberland and Talcott in Park Ridge. The NACC-Chicago is assigned a space in the parade, and if you register with us we can communicate the starting info when we have it. Many that walk with us will enjoy the rest of the parade at the end in Hodges Park. There is no fee or coststo you other that what you buy from vendors.
Bunads and costume are in style as well as Norwegian and American flags.
