		<description><![CDATA[Martha grew up in Cedar Rapids, IA and graduated from Luther College in 1979. She is 100% Norwegian and 5 generations American. Her ancestors came from Valdres, Voss, Sogn and Telemark in the mid and late 1800s. This year Martha will celebrate 30 years working for SAS here in Chicago! As Sales Manager, her territory extends from Arizona and Texas in the south to Minnesota and Michigan in the north. Martha and her husband, Peter (originally from Denmark) have a daughter, Emma, who will be a sophmore at Iowa State University this fall. Martha loves photography, baking, getting together with family and friends, reading and, of course, travel! Martha currently serves on the board of the NACC Midwest Chicago chapter, where she also served as President for two years and is on the Church Council at Our Saviours Lutheran Church in Arlington Heights, IL.]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[Charles Peterson received his BA in music from North Park College in 1973; his MA in communications from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 1980; and his PhD in Radio-Television-Film from Northwestern University in 1992. His dissertation was entitled The Political Economy of Television in Sweden. In 1988 Mr. Peterson became Academic Dean and Professor of International Mass Media at Danvik Folkehøgskole International Media Center in Drammen, Norway, where he served until 1993. He returned to North Park University to become the Executive Director, Center for Scandinavian Studies and Professor of Communication Arts. Dr. Peterson is currently Dean of the College at North Park University, Chicago. He is a frequent consultant on Scandinavian culture for corporations and individuals. His current research projects include Sámi and Eskimo Media, Culture, and Language.]]></description>
